BACK DECK AND STAIRS: - Order and supply skip bin (location to be confirmed on the day). - Source new building materials. - Freight and delivery of new building materials to site. - Block off entry to the back deck for the respective tenants for safety reasons. - Remove and dispose of the existing timber balustrading. - Remove and dispose of the existing decking boards. - Prep areas for the new deck installation. - Supply and install new H3 treated pine posts for the new handrail on the back deck. - Supply and install new 90 x 19mm merbau pre-oiled decking boards to the back deck. - Supply and install new H3 treated pine top rail bread loaf baluster. - Supply and install new H3 treated pine bottom rail baluster. - Supply and install new H3 treated pine 62 x 18mm vertical slatting baluster's. - Construct the new staircase and handrail in accordance with the relevant Australian standards. - Merbau decking boards to be connected to the existing joists with stainless steel decking screws countersunk. - Handrail balustrading to be connected to the posts with galvanised/stainless steel fixings. - All rubbish to be installed in the supplied skip bin at the front of the property. - Remove and dispose of all rubbish created. - Clean all areas worked in. - Removal of supplied skip bin. - Source paint matches as per the original balustrading. - Prep all areas. Supply and apply matched paints to the new balustrading as per the original colour scheme. BACK STAIRS ONLY: - Remove and dispose of the existing handrail balustrading on the back stairs. - Remove and dispose of existing staircase stringers and step treads. - Source new construction materials. - Supply and install new steel galvanised stringers. - Supply and install new treated pine step treads fixed to the new galvanised stringers with galvanised bolts. - Supply and install new H3 treated pine 88 x 88mm post on the bottom step for the new handrail. - Supply and install new pole plate post against the existing wall for the new handrail. - Supply and install new H3 treated pine top rail bread loaf baluster. - Supply and install new H3 treated pine bottom rail baluster. - Supply and install new H3 treated pine 62 x 18mm vertical slatting baluster's. - All cut ends to be primed with an enamel primer. - Construct the new staircase and handrail in accordance with the relevant Australian standards. - Disposal of all existing rubbish created. - Clean all areas worked in. - Re-attend property. - Prep all areas. - Supply and apply builder's white paint to the new handrail. - Supply and apply matched paint of the original stringers to the new step treads.
