yes we are fully insured 10 million public liability and full workers compensation. Although I am yet to make a claim in 17 years

Did a horticulture apprenticeship out of high school for the local council and the guys at work knew I was a hard worker so they asked for me to work on the tree crew and the rest is history

The customer stories I like is when the customer is happy and refers us to others. When we get in and do the work clean up and get out of there as quick as we can to disrupt the customer as little as possible and when the customer appreciates it

What type of tree, the address, front yard or backyard and the best times to come around, any hazards like powerlines or bees. What time to call back and how soon you wish to go ahead with the work

Make sure the access from the truck to the tree is clear of furniture. Clean up any dog poo in the work area If you've started the job only to realise its too big and you should hire a professional stack the branches neatly with the butts all facing one way with the heavy logs seperate

being a small business I have very low overheads so I can be really competitive on my pricing also Im a new business and am very hungry for work

How do you normally charge for your service?

on a job to job basis and advice is hourly. Generally I look at the the size of the tree the access to the tree, where I can park my truck and chipper, whats involved, is there hazards such as powerlines or cavities etc. and how long I think it will take and the overall difficulty of the job.

most of my work is large tree removals but anything to do with trees in general I'm happy to help with

completed trade qualifications in Horticulture and Arboriculture and currently studying level 5 in Arboriculture as well as 17 years experience working all around Australia and Canada, I also sub contract out to some of Perths larger tree companies on a regular basis
