  They didn't show up. Oriel the manager kept telling me they are on their way. and then 4hrs past the latest agreed meeting time i got a call from the removalist Augustin saying he is still 1hr away. I cancelled as it was already dark and everyone was furious since we'd been waiting all day. A relative came over with a hired van and we ended up moving everything ourselves.

  The main removalist was lovely, however just be cautious, my experience and facts below; 1. Arrived 10 min late 2. Would stand and chat amongst themselves 3. 2nd guy would be texting & smoking a lot 4. Took 45 minutes longer to get to delivery point, when 2 other vehicles and the truck left pickup at the same time. 5. GPS data apparently said the truck arrived at delivery address at 12.06 whereas they didn't call me until 12.43 to advise they had arrived 6. They took a chunk out of my new wooden dining room table top, in the middle, so it must have dropped onto something 7. Took a chuck out of the new floor boards when unloading 8. Owner then tried to blame me 9. 10. The owner took half an hour off for them 'going missing' 10. Later found out it was 2nd guys first day, so you pay full price for someone who has no idea what they were doing, and unfortunately he had no idea 11. No compensation for inexperienced movers, or texting and smoking whilst working nor damage done 12. Offer of insurance, however you must pay the $250 excess - so check the fine print 13. Took 4.5 hours to move a 1 bedroom unit, with 20 boxes, a couch, desk, bed, dryer, TV unit, coffee table and draws. Even when majority of items where carried downstairs by myself and a friend. Allow plenty of time! 14. Finally, owner offers me $100 back for the damage done on my $1000 solid wood table. Insulting, however accepted as I just wanted to move on. Hopefully my experience was just a one off bad experience. Do your research and don’t go cheap like I did. You’re better of paying the money for experience, and someone who will look after your belongings like their own. Oh… and not try and blame the customer for their slow, inexperienced staff.
