YES, to operate as a home builder in NSW a business is required to have 1. contractors builders licence  2. Home warranty insurance & 3. Contract work & public liability insurance.

The most common question I get asked is: "How much will it cost..... Ball park figure".... My answer to that needs to take in to account a number of specifics, such as: What's your budget? Where is your site? What conditions apply to your site? Which design do you love?

Location for your new home, budget is extremely important to save wasting time, required inclusions, specification & most importantly your requirements for building design.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Let us help you find your block of land. Generally builders will get a better deal on land. 2. Unless your build has a budget of over 1 million leave the plans to us. Architects charge a fortune 3. Lock in your selections early. This creates less work and enables us to pass on the savings to you.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I pride myself on operating diligently. I have designed I list of specifications with quality and innovation in mind that my suppliers provide me with the most competitive prices in the market. Unlike larger builders our operating costs are minimal which in turn allows us to work on smaller margins.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Fixed price building contracts. Generally my clients want something they can take to the bank with the option to add extras during the build. Our variations don't come with the hefty price tags a lot of large builders are known for.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

In the early days I specialised in high end carpentry. Timber framing (including cut on site), metal framing, fix outs, cladding, decks, pergolas. These days my focus is to become a volume based building company that delivers competitively priced quality built homes on time & on budget.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

My trade background is carpentry & joinery. I have also completed a certificate IV in low rise building, with 20 years experience building homes there is not a lot I haven't done in the residential sector.
